Luton Town transfer news: Hatters handed boost in race for 15-goal star, Millwall want £5m-rated ace

Luton Town are back in Championship action this weekend, when they host Middlesbrough at Kenilworth Road on Saturday afternoon.

The Hatters have three games left to go, and while they're not involved a push for promotion or battle against relegation, they will still be eager to finish the 2020/21 campaign on a high, and secure a top-half finish to round off a highly-encouraging season.

Speaking ahead of the Boro match, Luton boss Nathan Jones paid tribute to Harry Cornick, who scored the winner and his first goal of the season in a 3-2 thriller against Bristol City last weekend. He claimed: “If you judge him on his goals, it’s been a season where he hasn’t been as productive as in previous years.

“But if you look at his overall output, he’s a real dangerous player and a real big player for us.

“We’ve been delighted with Harry, yes we would like him to score more goals for us and for himself and his own sanity and mind-frame, but for us, he’s been excellent.

“It was good for him to get that as we wouldn't want him to go a full season without scoring because he’s had that progression year in year out.”

Here are today's biggest transfer stories and the latest team news involving Luton Town and the rest of the Championship, as the build-up to this weekend's action continues:
