Luton will face rivals Watford in the Championship after Hornets are relegated
Luton Town will face their fierce rivals Watford in the Championship next season after they were relegated from the Premier League on the final day of the season yesterday, beaten 3-2 by Arsenal.
The Hornets started the day knowing a positive result could keep them up, but they fell 3-0 down after 33 minutes at the Emirates Stadium and, despite pulling back two goals, finished 19th in the table, going down with Norwich City and Bournemouth.

Watford pulled a goal back from the penalty spot through Troy Deeney, but although Danny Welbeck made it 3-2, the Hornets couldn't find the win they needed, dropping out of the top flight.
They will now face Luton in a league clash for the first time since both teams were in the Championship during the 2005-06 season.
