Luton's on-loan Sheffield United defender Rhys Norrington-Davies has earned his first call up to the Wales senior squad.

The 21-year-old has represented his country at U21 level 14 times, but was named in the 27-man squad to face England, Republic of Ireland and Bulgaria next month.

Wales travel to Wembley to take on England in a friendly on Thursday, October 8 and then visit Ireland in a Nations League clash on Sunday, October 11.

Ryan Giggs' side also go to Bulgaria in the Nations League on Wednesday, October 14.

Norrington-Davies has not missed a single minute of league and cup action since signing for Luton in the summer on a season-long loan from Premier League Sheffield United.

However, Town centre half Tom Lockyer, who played both sets of 90 minutes as Wales won 1-0 against both Finland and Bulgaria earlier this month, has been left out.
