Mackail-Smith to Hatters not a done deal
Luton Town boss John Still was keeping his cards close to his chest on the chances of signing former striker Craig Mackail-Smith.
The 31-year-old is currently with Hatters on their pre-season tour of Portugal and started the 1-0 friendly win over Farense last night.
But Still was keen to stress that a deal for the frontman wasn’t in place yet as he said: “Craig’s come out and he enjoys being here, he knows all of us, me, Terry (Harris) and Dave Richardson.
“We haven’t done anything with it yet, but if the right one comes along that we feel is right for us, then yes we will do something.”
