Marriott targets prolific season with Hatters
With Hatters only scoring 54 goals in the league last season, the 20-year-old, who penned a one-year deal last month, believes he could help solve that problem.
Speaking to the News/Gazette, Marriot said: “I imagine that’s why the manager brought me in and I hope that I can repay some faith and stick the ball in the back of the net.

“It doesn’t mean that I’m stupidly greedy, but if I’ve got a chance then I want to take it, it’s always something I’ve strived for.”
Netting in front of a Hatters crowd that averaged 8,702 last term is high up on Marriott’s wish-list too and for the full story, see the News/Gazette on sale now.
