The 19-year-old joined on loan until the end of the season last week after being a big part of Town’s Conference title win last campaign.

On their chances, he said: “Luton want to go up, they don’t belong in League Two like they didn’t belong in the Conference.

“We got out of the Conference, now it’s time to get out of League Two.

“It’s probably a little bit easier to get out of League Two as there’s three that go up.

“That’s the aim now, if we can push on and get a run together, why can’t we go and win it?

“I had the feeling last year and would love to win it again.”

McGeehan believes boss John Still is putting together a squad more than capable of achieving his goal, while he was delighted to hear the likes of Jonathan Smith and Guttridge speak in glowing terms about his ability before the loan move was sealed.
