The 19-year-old made a real impact during his time at Kenilworth Road last season, playing 18 times for the Hatters and scoring three goals as he picked up a Conference winners medal.

Speaking to BBC Radio Norfolk, McGeehan, who has yet to feature for the Canaries first team this term, said: “I still talk to John Still every now and again and I could potentially go there on loan.

“But at the minute they’re doing really well. If that comes to fruition it would be good as I think there were talks with Luton in the summer but it didn’t come to anything.

“I have to try and get some more senior games into me. I’ll look to do that in January maybe.”

Town boss John Still is a well-known admirer of McGeehan and revealed he had tried to sign him permanently during the summer.

Speaking in October, he said: “We spoke to them and the amount of money they wanted was not for this level - not even for one up.

“I know he plays for Norwich, but he’s a Luton player.

“If it was possible to bring in Cameron McGeehan we would certainly be interested. He’s a very good player.”
