Town captain Steve McNulty made an instant return to the Hatters’ starting line-up for their League Two clash against Newport County at Kenilworth Road this afternoon.
The skipper had been suspended for Luton’s 1-0 FA Cup win over Bury on Tuesday night after being sent off during the 3-0 defeat at Morecambe the previous weekend.
Fraser Franks dropped to the bench, while Paul Connolly was also among the subs as Alex Lacey and Matt Robinson missed out from the match day squad.
Newport were without former Hatter Aaron O’Connor who was suspended himself, while ex Luton striker Danny Crow was on the bench.
