Money: Town must rise above emotion

LUTON Town manager Richard Money insists his side will have to separate the emotion from the occasion when they visit Rushden & Diamonds on Boxing Day, writes Mike Simmonds.

The Nene Park club are still reeling from the sudden death of goalkeeper Dale Roberts last week.

Saturday’s game with Town is their first match since the tragic news and the club have retired the number one jersey in honour of the former Nottingham Forest stopper.

Money said: “The club has sent their thoughts and condolences to the player’s family and also the club.”
