Midfielder Olly Lee scored a second half equaliser, tucking home once Danny Hylton's shot had been saved to ensure the Hatters got the point they needed to go up in front of an elated 1,404 travelling supporters, eventually finishing second to league champions Accrington Stanley. Below, the Luton News takes a special look at just who took to the field for Town that day.
1. GK: James Shea. Apps: 8. Goals: 0.
Came in for the final eight games of the season after playing second fiddle to Stech. Gave away the penalty as Grainger put the Cumbrians ahead early on, one of only six goals he conceded during his run in the side.
2. RB: Jack Stacey. Apps: 41. Goals: 1.
Played the majority of league games for Town, scoring once as he completed a superb full season after joining from Reading. Carried on his stellar form, earning a move to Premier League Bournemouth last summer.
3. LB: Dan Potts. Apps: 42. Goals: 6.
A mainstay of Town's solid defence and was a huge threat at the other end too, contributing six goals. Still very much part of the club's back-line in the Championship this term as well.
4. CB: Alan Sheehan. Apps: 42. Goals: 3.
Massive part of the side that season, captaining the Town in the absence of Cuthbert. Became a huge fans favouite at Kenilworth Road, leaving in January this year, when he signed a short term deal with Lincoln City.
