Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu won’t be fit for Luton’s clash with Dagenham & Redbridge on Sunday after being injured last week.
He had to go off early in the second half in last weekend’s game against Plymouth after colliding with an advertising hoarding.
Boss John Still said: “He’s got a swollen ankle, he hit the hoarding behind the goal. It’s nothing else but a swollen ankle but he’s not quite ready.”
Sean Long and Dan Potts also suffered knocks last week but the Luton boss said they had trained on Friday and should be available for Sunday, as will Craig Mackail-Smith.
He was unsure if Paul Benson would be available as he recovered from a neck injury: “He has trained. Let’s see what sort of reaction he has. We haven’t pushed him, so we may give him another week but we’ll see.”
