Pereira nets late penalty as Luton U21s defeat Fulham

A last-gasp penalty from attacker Dion Pereira saw Luton Town U21s run out 2-1 winners against Fulham in a friendly this afternoon.

The Hatters fielded goalkeeper Harry Isted for the match, along with Corey Panter, Sam Beckwith and TQ Addy.·

A goalless first half saw Isted made a good low save, with Town then going closest when Beckwith’s left-footed drive cannoned off the outside of the post.

Moments after the break, Addy’s cross was turned in by a Fulham defender to put Town in front.

Although the Cottagers equalised, Pereira was on target with the late spot-kick to ensure Luton were victorious.
