Pereira scores twice as Luton U21s defeat Stevenage

Dion Pereira bagged a double as Luton U21s beat Stevenage Academy 4-0 at The Brache this afternoon.

The Hatters picked a side containing Corey Panter and Avan Jones, with Jake Peck named captain, plus recent recruit Jack Chambers included.

Youngsters Aidan Francis and Tiernan Parker were in the starting line-up as well, as Pereira opened the scoring from the penalty spot on 41 minutes after Tra Lucas was fouled.

TQ Addy made it two with a neat finish early in the second half, while Pereira added a third on 70 minutes, the victory rounded off by Lucas's towering header following a pinpoint Chambers cross with three minutes remaining.
