Poku hoping Town’s luck will change
FAITHFUL Godfrey Poku believes Lady Luck will finally smile on the Hatters in the near future, writes Mark Wood.
Luton once again succumbed to a late leveller as Grimsby Town snatched a 1-1 draw at Kenilworth Road on Saturday, but the combative midfielder is positive the Hatters just need the rub of the green.
He said: “It will change. I’ve got faith and belief it will change. I personally think we just need a little bit of luck. I think we are playing good. We started well, it’s just luck I think and it’s not going our way.
“There’s no doubt we will try and do everything in our power to do our best for the club.”
