Former West Ham midfielder Jack Collison has agreed a one-year deal with League One Peterborough United.
The 26-year-old who didn’t play competitively last season after leaving Ipswich Town in December, had been looking for a new club for the 2015/1 campaign.
Speaking exclusively to the News/Gazette in March, Luton boss John Still had confirmed he was interested in acquiring Collison’s services. saying: “I know Jack. Jack has suffered with a lot of injury, but it’s something to look into, definitely.”
However, Collison has now moved to London Road and talking to the Posh official website, he said: “I had a great time with West Ham and have been working extremely hard day and night to get myself ready for a new challenge this summer and I am looking forward to meeting the boys in the dressing room in pre-season and getting out there on the pitch.”
