Rendell can’t wait for Hatters debut

NEW striker Scott Rendell is looking forward to experiencing the Kenilworth Road atmosphere after signing for the club on a two-year deal from Wycombe Wanderers, writes Mike Simmonds.

The 25-year-old hasn’t played at the ground in a competitive fixture but is well aware of how well supported Town are, even in the Conference.

Rendell said: “I can only remember once playing in a friendly game for Peterborough.

“I played about 70-80 minutes but it was a good atmosphere that day even though it was only a friendly.”
