Striker Scott Rendell has joined fellow Skrill Premier Side Woking on loan for a month.
The forward has been on the transfer list since the end of last season, and had seen a move away dashed during the final hours on transfer deadline day recently.
Rendell netted 12 goals in 46 games for Town last season, with his most famous strike the one to knock out Premier League side Norwich City at Carrow Road in the FA Cup.
Town boss John Still told the club’s official website: “It’s a good move for Scott. He has been a model professional since I have come to the club – his attitude has been first class.
“I’m pleased we have been able to find him a suitable club to get him playing football.”
Woking have confirmed that Rendell has gone straight into the squad for tonight’s match against Tamworth, but won’t be allowed to play against Luton when the two sides meet on Tuesday, September 24.
