For a bit of fun, we've simulated the game through to the end of next summer's transfer window, and taken a look at the intriguing signings Luton Town are predicted to make. Here's the deals FM21 is backing the Hatters to make over the course of next year.
9. Fabrizio Cacciatore - Cagliari - Free transfer
Those free transfers just keep rolling in, as Jones adds more valuable experience to his back-line with the Italian right-back. His disciplinary record could be any issue, it must be said. Photo: Alessandro Sabattini
10. Wesley Jobello - Coventry City - £275k
The Sky Blues succumbed to relegation, and the Hatters swooped for their star winger. The former Marseilles man looks set to be a rotation option, but could well break into the first team. Photo: Alex Pantling
11. Will Smallbone - Southampton - Loan
Deadline day is rapidly approaching, and the exits of Andrew Shinnie and Ryan Tunnicliffe see Luton dive back into the transfer market. Smallbone joins on a season-long loan. Photo: Stephen Pond
12. Birkir Bjarnason - Brescia - Free transfer
You probably haven't heard this man's name in about four years, when he was part of an Iceland side that ruthlessly dumped England out of Euro 2016. The ex-Aston Villa man joins on a free after being released by Brescia. Photo: Valerio Pennicino
