Following a terrific campaign in which Town finished sixth in the Championship, scoring some terrific goals along the way, Town supporters have been picking their best strike from the 63 that hit the opposition net.
A poll by the Luton News was run recently and to find out just which effort came out on top, see the gallery below.
5. Allan Campbell (Bournemouth home): 4%
The Scottish midfielder rampaged through the middle of the pitch and with Bournemouth’s defence backing off and inviting him to shoot, he did just that, firing powerfully into the bottom corner for his first goal in Luton colours. Photo: Liam Smith
6. Elijah Adebayo (Millwall home): 2%
A quite splendid team goal saw the move begin with Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu before some audacious skill by Henri Lansbury, as Adebayo and Amari'i Bell then combined brilliantly with a neat one-two before the striker opened his body up to slot into the corner. Photo: Liam Smith
7. Harry Cornick (Swansea away): 2%
On for just nine minutes, the substitute struck in unerring fashion with one of his first touches after Cameron Jerome advanced and played the ball perfectly into his path for the only goal of the game at the Liberty Stadium. Photo: Gareth Owen
8. Jordan Clark (Blackpool away): 1.3%
Putting the icing on an excellent 3-0 win in Lancashire, the midfielder was in the right place to unleash an impressive volley from Admiral Muskwe’s run and cross that gave Tangerines stopper Chris Maxwell no chance. Photo: Gareth Owen
