After an ultimately successful campaign in which the Hatters stayed in the Championship, Luton fans have chosen their Player of the Season. The Luton News ran a poll in which almost 1,000 supporters voted and to see just who was crowned the winner, see the results below.
5. 5th: James Collins - 12%
Striker enjoyed a fine maiden season in the Championship, topping the scoring charts with 14 goals to his name, including one from the penalty spot as Luton beat Blackburn 3-2 on the final day.
6. 4th: Simon Sluga - 13%
After a shaky start to the campaign, the Croatian international came into his own when restored to the starting line-up, making some wonderful saves and keeping six clean sheets.
7. 3rd: Harry Cornick - 14%
Another who made great strides this season, playing 48 games and finishing with nine goals, his best return since turning pro. Wonderful strike at Leeds after the campaign resumed as well.
8. 2nd: Cameron Carter-Vickers - 15%
Shows just what an impact he had after signing on loan from Spurs in the January transfer window. Played just 16 games, but was a starring influence in most of them, tightening up what was a previously leaky Luton back-line.
