With Euro 2020 starting this week, a special poll was run on the Luton News website asking supporters to select their best ever team of internationals who have represented the Hatters. The only rule was they had to win a cap while at Kenilworth Road and to see who made the final cut, check out the full team below.
9. LW: Kingsley Black (Northern Ireland) - 43%
Exciting left winger made 16 of his 30 international appearances while with the Hatters, his debut coming in a 0-0 friendly draw against France on April 27, 1988.
10. FW: Mick Harford (England) - 43%
Imposing striker won two England caps while at Luton, his debut coming against Israel in February 1988 and then also featuring in a 1-0 friendly win over Denmark later that year.
11. CF: Brian Stein (England) - 23%
Legendary Luton forward had just a single England cap during his career, that coming in a 2-0 defeat against France on February 29, 1984, partnering Hatters' team-mate Paul Walsh upfront.
12. Sub: Simon Sluga - (Croatia) - 23%
Croatian international goalkeeper has won two of his three caps since moving to Kenilworth Road and is currently part of the Euro 2020 Finals squad.
