Seven sides facing relegation from League Two

Who joins Luton Town in the Blue Square Bet Premier next season is still unknown as the League Two campaign reaches a climax this afternoon, writes Mike Simmonds.

Not one side is mathematically relegated yet, with seven teams facing a final day decider, right up to 18th-placed Torquay.

Favourites for the drop are bottom side Aldershot as they have a hugely inferior goal difference and travel to Rotherham who themselves need to win to be assured of promotion.

AFC Wimbledon, who beat Hatters in a play-off final are second bottom and entertain Fleetwood, while Barnet, no stranger to last day heroics, could also go, and they travel to Northampton, aready secure of a play-off place.

Town boss John Still’s former club Dagenham & Redbridge are not safe either as defeat at home to York, another side, who could go down, might see them drop into the Conference.

Plymouth have an outside chance of releation ahead of their trip to Rochdale, while Torquay are at home to Bristol Rovers.

Meanwhile, joining Hatters from Conference North is Chester, who have romped to the title, while the play-offs will be between Guiseley, Brackley, Altrincham and FC Halifax.

In Conference South, Welling are champions and the play-offs will be between Salisbury, Dover, Chelmsford and Eastleigh, where Adam Watkins and Alex Lacey are on loan to.
