Smith set to return for Wycombe clash
The 29-year-old, who scored a superb goal against Wanderers on Boxing Day last year, missed last weekend’s 3-2 victory at Exeter along with Luke Wilkinson, who isn’t expected to feature.
Caretaker boss Andy Awford told the club’s official website: “He’s (Smith) trained all week, he’s fit and available for selection.

Hatters have no other injury concerns though with Dan Potts, Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu, Nathan Doyle and Paddy McCourt all back in training this week, but not available for the Chairboys fixture.
Awford continued: “They’ve all trained. “It’s been a good week for them, they’ve joined in and been involved.
“They won’t be available for selection for Saturday, and probably not for Portsmouth but if we manage them well enough they could be in contention for Bristol Rovers.”

Speaking after the Exeter victory, he added: “We’ve all pulled together this week after a difficult week and we’ve now got a nice week to prepare for Wycombe at home on Boxing Day.
“It will be a great atmosphere, there’ll be a few in that day, no doubt with it being Boxing Day. The supporters will get behind us like they did at Exeter, I thought they were magnificent .
“They’ve sucked that ball in the net and I hope they can suck in a few more at home.”
