Still ‘aware’ of Bantams striker McLean

Hatters boss John Still has refused to rule out making a move for Bradford City’s out of favour striker Aaron McLean.

Media reports in Yorkshire on Monday suggested the 31-year-old, who has scored three goals this season, is on his way out from Valley Parade, with Kenilworth Road a potential destination.

Although well aware of McLean’s goalscoring ability, Still confirmed he hasn’t been in contact with Bradford boss Phil Parkinson, but that could change.

The Luton chief said: “I know Aaron McLean and I haven’t done anything regarding that yet.

“That’s not to say we’re not or we aren’t, we’re aware of his situation, put it that way.

“I’ve not spoke to Parky, that’s not to say I’m not going to either.”

Still, who had been after Barnet forward Keanu Marsh-Brown during the transfer window, admitted an experienced attacking option remains a possibility.
