Still blasts ‘idiot’ over smoke device

Luton Town boss John Still has blasted the ‘idiot’ who let off a smoke device during Saturday’s League Two clash with Mansfield Town.

The club announced on Monday they were investigating the event, the second problem in two weeks, after the FA confirmed they were looking into a lighter throwing incident by Hatters supporters at Burton Albion.

Still said: “You can have 20,000 people and one idiot and people remember the idiot. Whoever brought the stuff and threw the lighter is nothing more than an idiot.

“We don’t really want them at the club, because I look around the terraces and see lots of kids. We should be setting kids an example, so whoever that is, stay away, simple as that.”
