Still found Burr’s absence for Kidderminster surprising

Hatters boss John Still admitted he found it strange that Kidderminster Harriers boss Steve Burr missed his side’s 1-0 defeat at Barnet last week due to interest from Forest Green Rovers, writes Mike Simmonds.

The Harrier chief had talks with Rovers over the vacant managerial position and wasn’t in the dugout for one of Town’s main promotion rivals defeat.

Burr has since rejected the chance to leave Aggborough as Still said: “I’m not privy to information there, but he wasn’t at the Barnet game and I find it a bit surprising that you get yourself in a situation where almost for a week you’re not managing anyone.

“You’re not going to this club you’re not staying with the club you’re at.

“I’m sure Steve is glad it’s settled and I’m sure Kiddermsinter are glad it’s settled and Forest Green continue looking.”
