Still not expecting a busy deadline day

Town boss John Still isn’t anticipating a busy end to the transfer window at Kenilworth Road tomorrow.

The deadline for business is 11pm and despite Town making it five league and cup games without a win after defeat at Shrewsbury yesterday, when asked if there would be any movements, Still said: “Not much to be honest, I don’t expect there to be much.

“We need to perhaps try and get an overview in the next 24 hours on two or three injuries which may make a difference or not.

“We’re waiting on confirmation on Jonathan Smith and Alex Lawless and now Andy Drury and Shaun Whalley.

“I think we need to try and find a wide player, we’re a little bit unbalanced as that’s what we’ve got, but that’s what it is and I’m not going to go on about it.”
