Still not expecting to sign striker Zoko

The 32-year-old former Stevenage, Bradford and Blackpool forward played for Luton in their Beds Senior Cup defeat to AFC Dunstable on Tuesday evening.

However, Still didn’t think there would be a permanent move in the offing, as he said: “He was around, he wanted to come in training, so we said come in.

“I asked him if he wanted to play in a game and he did, but I wasn’t particularly looking to do anything if I’m honest.”

Still is happy with his attacking options within the squad especially as Paul Benson is approaching full fitness again, although admitted he wouldn’t be against adding to his squad if he felt it was the right player.

The boss said: “I’ve got Craig (Mackail-Smith), I’ve got Jack (Marriott), Paul Benson is coming back, Josh (McQuoid) can play down the middle, so I’m not busting to do it.

“It’s like lots of things, someone says are you looking at anything and I’m always looking at something that might improve us. So yes I would be interested, but I can’t actively say I am looking to do things.

“If something comes up or something we enquire about we feel is better than that we have, or is an investment, is a young one, another Jack Marriot out there, we would be always looking at those types.”
