The 20-year-old forward came through the ranks at Upton Park and has made two substitute appearances for the Hammers in that time.

Lee, who is the son of former England international Robert, spent time on loan at Colchester last season, scoring one goal in four games, while he has been at Southend United this term, but suffered a hamstring injury and returned to West Ham.

He has since been linked with a move back to Southend, while Wycombe Wanderers and Burton are also thought to be interested as Still said: “We know Elliot, and he is player from where we come from, so from that point of view, I wouldn’t rule it out.”
