Still: Rovers display was Town’s best of the campaign
Luton looked defensively sound for the 90 minutes, with Mark Tyler forced into action just once and could have nicked the victory when Alex Lacey’s second half goal was ruled out for offside.
Still said: “That’s our best performance so far this season. Our organisation was first class and I thought for the away team, Tyler had one shot really to save and a dangerous cross at the end, but other than that, we restricted them.

“I was pleased with our application and work-rate. We had a little passage of play in both halves of really good one touch football, which delighted me. That’s what we’ve got to keep working on to get that side of our game better.
“The last home game they won eight, lets put it in context. Dave (Hockaday) has had his team here for a little while, we’re still building. Am I happy with a point? I’m happy with a point now the game is over. Would I have settled for a point before? No, because I want to go to win.
“Whenever I put a team out I go to win, but the level of performance was drastically improved since last week.”

Hide AdStill made two changes and a different formation from the one that had drawn 1-1 against Macclesfield as Jonathan Smith came in for Solomon Taiwo, while Mark Cullen replaced David Martin with Luton switching to a 4-3-3.
The boss continued: “We tried to push Cully on as we felt before the game, that (Al) Bangura who likes to set play up for them and Cully, who likes to make things happen, might cancel each other out and I think they did.
“But we were hoping that Cully being higher up the pitch than him, he might just find one pass, one cute ball. In fact he did get in a couple of times himself, but his finishing wasn’t the right finish.”
Whether Bangura should have lasted the full match was a bone of contention for Still too as booked for a crude challenge on Luke Guttridge, he then escaped a second yellow for blatantly fouling Cullen, despite Steve McNulty being cautioned for exactly the same offence shortly afterwards.

“It’s the referees decision isn’t it. The referee will have to decide if he made the right or wrong decision, I’ve already decided and I think eveyrone else has.”
