Hatters boss John Still has confirmed he will try and sign QPR defender Michael Harriman permanently when the January transfer window opens.
The full back extended his loan spell for a third and final month this week, and Still will enquire about a deal with Loftus Road chief Harry Redknapp, who is a close friend of his, when that is up.
Speaking to the press today, Still said: “I think during the course of this month, I’ll have a chat with QPR and see where it all is.
“We like Michael and Michael, with the greatest respect, would like to stay here, but that’s for QPR to decide.
“It’s not a question I can answer, so when we speak to them we’ll be able to see what they’re thinking,
“We’ll have a talk about that and see to see where we go from here, but he’s done very well and we’d like to do something with that one.”
