Sweet revenge for old Gunner
JUBILANT Gabala boss Tony Adams was celebrating 23 year’s worth of pent up revenge following his side’s 3-2 friendly victory over Luton Town at Kenilworth Road on Wednesday night, writes Mark Wood.
He was part of the Gunners side that lost 3-2 to the Hatters in the 1988 Littlewoods Cup final, Brian Stein grabbing Town’s winner in the dying seconds.
Wednesday night’s victory also brought back plenty of happy and unhappy memories for Adams of his games at Kenilworth Road.
