Sweet wants tweaks for Eastlands ticket prices

UNHAPPY Hatters will be battling to tweak the ticket prices – especially for concessions – for Luton Town’s play-off final at Eastlands that kicks off at 3pm on Saturday, May 21, writes Mark Wood.

Town have been given an initial allocation of 22,500 tickets in the South Stand for the match against either AFC Wimbledon or Fleetwood.

Tickets will cost £36 for level one for adults and £18 for U18s, with level two £41 with no concessions.

Added to this, the tickets are being sold by a third party agency appointed by the Football Conference with a £3 booking charge for each adult ticket and £1.50 for concessions, while the postage price is £2.25 for first class mail or £5.25 for recorded delivery.

It is these issues that have angered Hatters the most, with managing director Gary Sweet saying: “I’m not alone in this battling away for a number of tweaks and changes in the organisation and changes to the play-off final event.”
