Sympathy for Lacey after early substitution
Lacey was selected in a similar defensive midfield role he had occupied against Carlisle, but with Town trailing 2-0, made way for the introduction of Luke Guttridge.

Hide AdGuttridge, who had a starring role in Hatters’ fight back, thought Lacey handled the decision well.
He said: “Football’s different, at Carlisle it worked very well.
“It’s nothing to do with Lace, or any individual, it just didn’t work, for whatever reason. That’s the beauty of football, it’s a different game every week.”
Meanwhile, Jake Howells felt Still’s call turned out to be the right one too.
