The 29-year-old, who wasn’t given a squad number at the start of the season is currently on loan at Conference side Dover Athletic.

He has played four times and starred as the Whites beat Aldershot 3-0 in front of a watching Still on Tuesday evening.

When asked whether Taiwo could play for Luton again, the Town chief said: “Absolutely. Solly was absolutely outstanding and I feel for Solly.

“I brought him here with Scotty (Scott Griffiths). Scotty never started great, Solly never started great, but I people now see what a good player Scott Griffiths is.

“Unfortunately Solly then picked up a hernia injury that kept him out and when he came back, he strained it again, so he never really got the opportunity to show how good a player he is.

“He’s gone out on loan now and I think when he plays enough games, he hasn’t played enough games yet, I think everyone will see how good a player he is at the level he’s playing at.

“Would he be able to step that up to the Football League, I don’t see why not. I’ve had Solly for a long time, you are talking about and exceptional player, not a good player, an exceptional player.”
