Luton's on-loan midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury Hall will stay with Luton Town for the remainder of the campaign according to Talksport present Geoff Peters.

The 22-year-old has been a massive hit since arriving at Kenilworth Road from the Foxes on loan, playing 16 times and scoring once.

With Rhys-Norrington Davies returning to Sheffield United this week, some fans were worried the same thing might happen to Dewsbury-Hall.

Although he hadn't received any concrete assurances, Town boss Nathan Jones hadn't been overly concerned, but a series of tweets from Peters this evening appears to suggest his short-term future will be with the Hatters, despite plenty of interest in his services from fellow Championship clubs.

He wrote: "Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall will stay at Luton Town for the rest of the season. Other Championship clubs - including Swansea, Bournemouth and Brentford - enquired this month about taking the highly rated Leicester midfielder on loan.

"Dennis Praet's injury sparked debate about Dewsbury Hall potentially returning to Leicester, who requested Luton left him out of their FA Cup tie last weekend.

"The loan recall date has passed so Luton would be under no obligation to let him leave.

"Dewsbury Hall has won a lot of plaudits in his 16 games at Luton.

"He received the club's Player of the Month award for November (getting 78% of the vote) and December (92%) after helping Luton beat Norwich, Preston and Bristol City, against whom he scored the winner."
