With the Hatters having battled and battled their way to a draw against the Championship leaders, Jones had a heated exchange of words with the former Valencia and Spanish international, who had come on as second-half substitute, at the full-time whistle.

And talk was rife about the incident and the game on social media, with plenty of interaction between fans of Luton and Leeds... scroll down to take a look!

@HungryHatter: "Well, that was a MASSIVE result! I know we're bottom again, but 2 points from safety... if someone had offered me that when the season restarted I'd have bitten their hand off. I'm surprised at how quickly it's felt like Nathan Jones never left. The squad are playing for him and everyone wants to run through walls for him, and in our position it's great to see. To think, in January I genuinely couldn't see us reaching 30 points...

@thomasmoller: "Nathan Jones' Barmy Army."

@SullivanNigel: "Yes the championship is full of linguists."

@wearelutontown: "Apparently it was: Leeds, Leeds se están desmoronando de nuevo." [Leeds, Leeds are falling apart again]

@Ballboy34: "Absolutely awful from Luton. Totally anti- football. To think a team is just happy to park the bus hoping they can catch a lucky break really makes me detest this league more and more.

@bedlambaby: "One shot, brilliant goal by Cornick. Leeds are easily the best team we have played in this division. Credit where it is due. Can you manage any humility?"

@SellarsStacey: "One shot but it went in the top corner. Should of had a penalty also. You got off lightly."

@jonro1465: "Luton were unbeaten in five coming into the game and under Nathan Jones are a lot better than their league position suggests. Not a disaster and we move onto Blackburn who will leave more space at the back"

@jkmcnamara: "Fair play to Nathan Jones for apologising and we can have no complaints their goal was quality and they played well, but credit to the team for getting back level we would of lost that last year, big game Saturday we win and all is good in the world again."
