Having made the step up from Maidenhead United towards the end of the season, the Town target man is employing all kinds of stretching and yoga to help improve his flexibility and recovery.
The 22-year-old said: “I’ve gone from the tin man, to the wooden man and then back, the physio’s never seen anything like it.
“He says I’m just the stiffest man he’s ever treated, but the work I’m doing with the physio and the training, I’m just going to get looser hopefully and get fitter and fitter and better and better and then hopefully the goals will start flowing.”
The quicker nature of the Blue Square Bet Premier compared to the division below is also taking some getting used to.
“It’s just the tempo,” he said. “It’s just a lot faster than what I’m used to, no time for a rest whatsoever.
“The players are a lot better, they are full-time and I’m coming from part-time, only training twice a week.”
