Town boss won’t be ‘bullied’ over Poku as bid is rejected

TOWN chief Gary Brabin will not be ‘bullied’ into parting with promising midfielder Godfrey Poku.

Southport manager Liam Watson has claimed that the Hatters won’t accept even a five figure offer for the combative midfielder, although he still hopes to bring him to Haig Avenue on loan.

And while Brabin is sympathetic to his friend’s situation, and full of praise for the job Watson has done at Southport, there seems little likelihood Poku will be returning for a second spell at the Sandgrounders.
