Town skipper Sonny Bradley would be thrilled if the Hatters could add on-loan defenders Cameron Carter-Vickers and James Bree to their ranks again next season.

The pair had huge roles to play in keeping Luton in the Championship, with Spurs centre half Carter-Vickers, who only signed in January, an absolutely integral part of a Town back-line which kept five clean sheets in their final 14 games to avoid relegation.

Bree, who joined for the season from Aston Villa back in August, produced his best form when the campaign resumed after lockdown, his set-pieces leading to both of Blackburn’s own goals in Town’s crucial final day 3-2 victory.

Both have a year to run on their contracts at their respective clubs, but when asked about them lining up in Luton colours again next term, Bradley said: “I’m sure Cam and James will make the decision that’s right for them.

“Obviously from my point of view, I’d like to have them both back and I think the manager would, but that’s for them to decide.

“They'll go away the next couple of weeks and they're both at football clubs, their clubs will make decisions on them.

“I'm sure they’ll have their own opinions as well, so whatever they do, whether they come back or whether they move on, I wish them all the best as they played a big part in us having a successful season so I’d like to thank them.”
