Town forced into changes for cup tie

Kroca and Lawless miss out for Luton

LUTON Town will be forced into at least two changes to their side for tonight’s FA Cup first round replay against Corby Town at Kenilworth Road, writes Mike Simmonds.

New signing Alex Lawless is cup-tied after playing for York City, while centre-half Zdenek Kroca picked up his fifth booking of the season on Saturday and is banned.

With Shane Blackett failing to recover from his groin injury then Ed Asafu-Adjaye could well start only his second match of the season, in a game where the winners will face either Barnet or Charlton Athletic, who played last night.

Manager Richard Money was remaining tight-lipped though as he said: “Lawless is cup-tied and Kroca is suspended so we have to make two changes to the team, but it gives an opportunity for other people to play.”
