Hatters captain Steve McNulty is confident a deal can be sorted out for QPR defender Michael Harrman to remain at the club.

The full back has made a real impression since joining on loan, making 17 appearances and scoring once, but his deal ended after last night’s 0-0 draw with Shrewsbury Town.

Boss John Still confirmed this week he has approached the Premier League to either sign Harriman permanently or bring him back to Kenilworth Road until the end of the campaign.

McNulty said: “He’s come in and done really well. I think if you stand and speak to Mike, he’s wanting to stay and he wants to see the season out.

“The gaffer wants to keep him, so I think it will get sorted in the end.”
