Town take a look at Namibian striker

NAMIBIAN striker Wilko Risser is the latest forward to try and grab the attention of Hatters manager Gary Brabin.

The 6ft 4ins 29-year-old striker enjoyed a brief trial at Kenilworth Road and, while he didn’t do enough to earn an immediate deal, Brabin could still be interested in the future.

He is the brother of Swindon Town skipper Oliver Risser, and Brabin said: “He has just come in to trial with us for a few days so we can look at him.

“His brother is captain of Swindon. At this moment in time that’s as far as it’s gone.”
