Town’s Cedar U18s squad enjoy a famous five

In only their third season of existence the Luton Town Cedars U18 Development Squad finished the season with an incredible five trophies.

They also managed one runners-up spot and a quarter-final place from the nine competitions entered.

The club won the Southern Counties Floodlit Youth League, Delphian Division, plus the Southern Counties Floodlit Youth League, Divisional Champions Play Off and Colwyn Cup.

They also tasted success in the Bedfordshire Schools County Cup and South Beds District Schools Cup.

The programme has provided opportunities for the players to progress into Luton Town’s U18s this season, with Harry Tamplin securing a full time scholarship.

Benji Crilley, Sean McMonagle and Gabriel Oakley go into the club on regular day release and between them play around 20 games for the scholars team.
