Trinidad star on his mad dash to join Hatters
The 30-year-old striker had been training with former club St Johnstone when the call came that he was wanted at Kenilworth Road, so he hopped on a plane to be unveiled as the first of Hatters manager Gary Brabin’s signings late in the day.
Samuel said: “I was at training and was heading home when about four o’clock in the afternoon I get a call saying about the move.

Hide Ad“So I drove back to the airport for eight o’clock to come and sign here at around nine o’clock.
I’m looking forward to getting out there and taking the opportunity I get.”
