Hatters boss John Still could be without a host of players once more when his side host Exeter City at Kenilworth Road on Friday afternoon.
Striker Elliot Lee remains a major doubt, as does captain Steve McNulty, who went off after an hour at Northampton on Saturday and goalkeeper Mark Tyler.
Lee’s absence was keenly felt at the weekend after he had starred during the 3-2 defeat against Wycombe the previous Tuesday, netting a clinical brace.
Still, who also takes his side to Tranmere Rovers on Monday, said: “We don’t know yet (for Lee), we’ll know a bit more Wednesday.
“The next couple of days are key, so maybe not Friday, but maybe Monday.
“We don’t know yet either with McNulty’s hamstring, while he’s (Tyler) closer. Whether or not he’s quite ready I’m not sure.”
Both Scott Griffiths and Nathan Doyle played during Luton’s 5-2 Development League victory over League Two rivals Portsmouth on Tuesday afternoon as the pair look to improve their match fitness.
Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu has been training too, but Still declared himself almost immune to the chronic injury problems suffered by the club this season.
