Trophy tie is moved to Wednesday

LUTON Town’s FA Trophy second round tie at Hinckley United has been moved from Tuesday to Wednesday, kick-off at 7.45pm.

The club’s official website released a statement about the game, which has already been postponed once, that read: “With uncertainty surrounding whether the game could go ahead on Tuesday given the forecast cold conditions, both clubs agreed on the decision to move the game forward 24 hours with milder temperatures expected in Leicestershire.”

If a replay is needed, that game will take place at Kenilworth Road on Monday, January 23, with Town still travelling to Southport on Saturday and entertaining Mansfield Town on Wednesday, regardless of the Hinckley result.
