Turning double into treble was just ‘perfect’ for Hatters hotshot Gray
Happy Hatters striker Andre Gray hailed his first Luton hat-trick as he inspired the Town to a 4-1 win against lowly Hyde at the weekend, writes Mark Wood.
Having held off a defender to net his first with his right foot, Gray followed that up with a screamer with his left and admitted he had the daft idea to score his third with a header for a ‘perfect’ hat-trick, but thankfully opted to fire home from close range.
Gray had previously hit a hat-trick for former club Hinckley, but this is the first he really counts.
