Hatters goalkeeper Mark Tyler should be fit enough to feature in the home pre-season friendlies starting this weekend against Coventry City.
The veteran stopper hasn’t played in any of the warm-up matches yet after recovering from a knee injury, but Still said: “Mark is training and I would think he’ll play the weekend, if not the weekend, then certainly Tuesday.
“He’s on it, but when people have been out for so long, there’s no need to rush them.”
Winger Ryan Hall is another who is starting to step up his training as Still added: “He joined us a bit late in Portugal because his wife had baby, so he came out a couple of days behind us and then he landed funnily on his ankle.
“That’s near enough gone now though, so he’s picking up his training now and by the time the season starts he should be well and truly into it.”
