Guttridge, 32, has been out injured for long periods this season, but completed his first 90 minutes since November against AFC Wimbledon on Saturday and impressed throughout, setting up both Town goals.

On the influential midfielder, Tyler said: “Guttridge is a quality player. We missed him, he’s got that vision, got that pass.

“If we can keep him fit and get a few others back, I think we’ll be okay.”

Manager John Still was of the same opinion as his keeper too, adding: “Having Luke Guttridge back is a plus, he’s get fitter and fitter.

“That diamond of him, Paul Benson, Pelly (Ruddock Mpanzu) and Alex (Lawless) has been a massive, massive miss for us.

“We’ve brought some players in, it’s difficult, but you have to overcome these things.

“Hopefully the players who have come in and played some games are just making our squad a bit stronger, by having some more fitness, knowledge and understanding.”
